Vital Choice Standard Shipping Policies:
(NOTE: Currently, we cannot ship to addresses outside the USA*, except for non-perishables items ordered from Canada.

• Free shipping applies to our standard deliveries to the United States.
• Shipping is calculated separately for each Cart in your order.
• Non-perishable (canned) products are shipped via Ground and should normally arrive within 5 to 7 days, depending upon destination.
• Perishable (frozen) items are shipped 2nd day air, Monday through Wednesday, unless otherwise requested.
• All orders will be shipped within 72 business hours under normal circumstances.
• * Perishable orders to Alaska and Hawaii are subject to a surcharge. Add $19.95 up to $200, above $200 is 10% of total.
• Canned products ship 5 days a week via ground service and will usually arrive in 4-7 business days depending upon destination. Frozen products ship 2nd day air Monday through Wednesday. The delivery day depends upon when your order was placed (all times are Pacific Standard).

When will my order arrive?

(GENERAL GUIDELINES) Perishable orders placed:

• between 10 am Wednesday and Midnight Friday will ship Monday to arrive on Wednesday.
• after midnight Friday through Tuesday 10 am will ship Tuesday to arrive on Thursday.
• after 10 am Tuesday through 10 am Wednesday will ship Wednesday to arrive on Friday.
• All orders placed by 10 am and upgraded to overnight will ship the same day Monday - Thursday.
• Overnight orders placed after 10 am Thursday through the weekend will ship Monday.

Next day delivery is available for an extra charge (19.95 or 10% of total, which ever is greater). We cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Please be aware that occasionally an order will arrive a day early. In most cases, if no one is home, couriers will leave the package at your door. If you have very specific delivery needs, please call our customer service desk at 800 608-4825 and one of our operators will be happy to assist you.

Premium services are charged as follows:

• Premium Shipping Upgrades on mixed orders (those containing both canned and frozen products) are added separately because they ship separately.
• For the Non-Perishable portion of your Cart:
  - Upgrade to 2nd Day Air Delivery: Add $9.95 up to $100, 10% of total above $100
  - Upgrade to Overnight Delivery: Add $19.95 up to $200, 10% of total above $200
• For the Perishable portion of your Cart:
  - Upgrade to Overnight Delivery: Add $19.95 up to $200, 10% of total above $200 (e.g. $350 = $35 to upgrade to overnight)

International Orders
Non-perishable orders may be shipped to Canada, however at this time we are unable to send perishable goods. International shipping costs will be calculated by weight of goods shipped. Please direct any questions you may have about foreign orders to our customer care desk at 800 608-4825.

Handling

• Perishable products should be refrigerated or frozen upon receipt. Slightly thawed sealed portions may be safely refrozen with no perceptable loss of quality or nutritional value.
• Unopened vacuum-packed smoked salmon packages have a refrigerated shelf life of approximately two weeks.
• Unopened non-smoked salmon packages have a refrigerated shelf life of approximately three days.
• After opening, smoked salmon is best consumed within three days.
• Freezing is recommended for long-term storage.
